Blue Spring Farm offers hunt seat riding lessons from beginner to advanced levels.  A variety of very nice school horses are available to suit your level of riding.  We offer private and group lessons for ages 7 and up.  Group lessons may have up to 4 riders.  Lesson fees are as follows:

Flat lessons (walk, trot & canter):                              Jumping Lessons:

Lessons must be scheduled in advance and a 24 hour cancellation notice is required for all lessons.

Our lesson program provides a safe environment for kids and adults to learn how to ride, groom, tack, bathe and generally take care of the horse in a fun atmosphere.  Horseback riding teaches responsibility, dedication, perseverance and team work.  We recommend that riders take lessons weekly unless they are preparing for a show in which case 2 lessons per week are recommended.

Riders are encouraged to come 30 minutes prior to their lesson time so that they may learn proper grooming and tacking skills. Riders should also allow 30 minutes after their lesson is over for cooling the horse out and grooming after the ride.
